After an intense testing period of 12 months, the Lexus performance car proved to be the deparments top pick and is set to replace their current fleet of Subaru Imprezas.
The new IS-F police car will carry over £30,000 worth of on-board computers and communications equipment - a setup that proved to be taxing on other vehicles that was easily accepted by the IS-F. The IS-F features a 5.0-liter V8 engine capable of 62mph in 4.8 seconds, and a top speed electronically limited to 168 mph.
