MILK strike
Dairy farmers spill milk onto a field in Scaer, Britany, as part of Europe-wide demonstrations to demand a higher price for their produce. The strike in Europe was suspended today until October 5, when European Union agriculture ministers will address the crisis. The strike began with a call from French dairy farmers on September 10, with counterparts from seven other countries joining their action.
